This game is toxic, destroys your physical health, mental health, makes you an addict and the people that made it this way are evil and only care about money.

This game is just awful, the people that keep playing it is due to addiction is not because you actually enjoy the game or because the game is enjoyable no, it's because it has become an addiction, the majority of players know the game is actually bad and has a ton of problems, we all know all the bad with the game and yet many keep playing it and that proves the success of the evil people in control of it because the objective of the game is that, to make you addicted, to keep you playing so you spend money on the game, they don't care about the harm they are doing to people with this.

I find it funny that many people that constantly complain about capitalism play this game, it makes no sense because this is one of the best examples of how toxic capitalism can become if left unchecked, companies that will go to any lenghts to make money and it doesn't matter if they are destroying the lifes of people in the process.

I'm going to list most of the issues that this game has and it's characteristics that make it overall a toxic game:

• The more obvious is the rigged EOMM system that ruins everyones games that creates this addiction: "one more, just one more and I'll win this time!"
• Heroes with toxic playstyles that make people feel hopeless and abused like Sombra
• Hard counters, yes having hard counters make the game toxic because once again the game is making you feel abused, hopeless, misserable
• Heroes that are too easy to play and extract value from like Junkrat and Heroes that requiere too much skill to be good at but it's really not worth it when you could be playing something easier and get more value out of it, this creates this hatred towards this easy to play heroes that everybody knows requiere little to no skill to play and being killed by one of those while you are using a Hero that requieres more skill feels completely unfair, once again : feelings of hopelessness, misery etc.
• Every new hero released is OP why? because they want you to play it, to abuse it (abuse others) and then you WILL buy something like a skin, like the battle pass or something because you are feeling good by doing this, then they will nerf it and possibly leave the hero in a very bad spot which once again will make you feel misserable.
• Hero "rebalancing" is more like making a character OP from time to time so people invest time on that hero and abuse it, it's the similar concept that when introducing new heroes but in a smaller scale, it's more noticeable in games like World of Warcraft, Blizzard have been doing this for years with classes in that game, every new patch some different class is OP and something nerfed to the ground so you invest time into another character, one of your many alts so you keep paying that subscription.
• Now knowing all of that what does this produce? a toxic community, because most people that play this game are angry, and have been conditioned to abuse others and extract every little bit of juice from others to make yourself feel better, this is why we have this general chat insults, passive agressive remarks, emoji spam to mock others and general bullying of the opponents, mocking them for being "such losers", it isn't enough that you are winning no, you have to destroy people morally, destroy their sanity too because you are conditioned to do this. This is also why people are toxic to each other in the same team, because many times we notice there is one or more elements that are not up to "standard" and this frustration makes people want to abuse them and this is like this due to the EOMM that rigs your matches so when you are in a group with 0 elmininations vs 15 by the 5 minutes mark you will become toxic to your team because you are frustrated, you feel hopeless, you feel abused, this feelings are constant through the entire experience.
• All of the previous points affect your physical health, many of you probably will have IBS, Gerd, Gastritis, increased chances of get sick due to the elevated stress, poor sleep habits too due to the addiction, some of you may even harm yourselves out of frustration, and obviously if you already suffer from one of those or something that I may have not mentioned this game will only make you worse.
• Your mental health will be destroyed too, you will have anxiety, constant feelings of anger and hatred, depression due to feeling hopeless, useless etc, many of you that were healthy could possibly trigger a more serious psychriatic condition due to this and the previous point like lack of sleep, I would not advice to anyone with a diagnosed psychriatic condition to play this game or any game like this
• The entire purpose of this "psyop" is to get your money

Now, with all that being said, the only people that would go to such lenghts to make money at the cost of others well being is EVIL PEOPLE call it what it is, and we need to start calling out this people, we need to tell them that they are evil and we need to recognize this ourselves, we go and condemn drug dealers etc but what about this videogame companies that create products like this? this also destroy the lives of people, this things are made to harm people in order to get money out of them, it's just wrong, this companies need regulation, this companies need to be held accountable for the damage they do to society and individuals with their monstruosities made to get money from people no matter the cost.

these are scary true for me at least, i fairly new to the game, never played ow1 before, and i can say that this game is hella addictive, i kept ranking up so easily, i played very well(trust me) despite the fact that i'm new, then i start to realized that the MM is rigged, i cant rankup anymore, and it gives me that "one more, just one more and I'll win this time!" knowing damn well my teammates are as$, like fck. thank you for reminding me OP, I'll stay away from the game for a while, and i kinda regret that I spent 30$ (that damn hanzo mythic skin tho)

Maybe you were ranking easy because you bought that skin, maybe if you spent more they will gave you more free wins, I have seen people said they bought the battle pass and suddenly started to rank up.

Yes I playED Dota 2 years ago before I knew better about rigged EOMM, Overwatch 1 was a more fun game for me so I transitioned to it, wasn't perfect, had it's issues but it was fun, way more fun than Overwatch 2 and in Overwatch 1 you could actually climb, in OW2 they started using EOMM or a more aggresive form of it and this new format of stomp or being stomped started happening, everybody knows this except the fanatics or paid actors that are on every forum defending the game.

so lets blame the system 100% you have players who do soft throwing , you have players trolling , you will have players do not take the game serusly as you.

how you can develop a MM with hypocritical variables? you can't. if you want win all day you are free to premade.

becouse in OW you can't have friends with deffrint rank thats why they changed, and "evrey" one will throw how the MM shhould be work gl dealing with 999 ideas, including stupid one that suggest "Hardware" and "IP" ban when they don't know it's easy to fake and harder for people who live in over populated country when ip4 isn't enough and ip6 isn't available and it's stupid to leave ip4 anywhere

Now, let's talk about the other things you mentioned, here is Blizzard themselves on the latest patch notes admitting how they rig games:

MATCHMAKING UPDATES

When a player is currently on a loss streak, the matchmaker will try to avoid putting the player on a team that is statistically calculated to have a lower chance of winning.

Developer comments: Loss streaks never feel good. Before each match, we make a prediction about which team will win the game, based on the information we have about the players on both teams. This is how modifiers such as Consolation, Reversal, Uphill Battle, and Expected give or take additional Rank Progress after each Competitive Play match. Since most matches will have a team that has a slightly higher chance of winning, placing a player on the team with the higher chance who is currently on a losing streak is aimed at helping them have a fair chance of breaking that streak. While this won't guarantee they'll win, it does provide a helping advantage.

The throwing, smurfing are also a problem but it's not the only problem, you are making a false dichotomy falacy trying to say it can only be one or the other and no, it can be both the issues you mention and a rigged EOMM.
