I disconnect for 2 seconds and i'm suspended for 15 mins. THATS INSANE!! fix you flippin game blizzered im sick and tired of yall ruin is more more more. ow1 was so fun

Disconnecting at the start of a match will close the match for everyone. The good news is, if you disconnect mid-game,you can rejoin after reconnecting. It was like this in OW1 already...

S10 changes, Overwatch now suspends your account even if you rejoin mid-game. Once you hit 10 disconnects in CP, your account will be banned from the mode. Aside from this everything else is the same as it was since the last CP penalty changes in S4 where they increased suspension times and removed penalty decay.

EDIT: @SkyGazing, same as before 3 seasonal bans will lead to permanent ban. Stick to QP to receive only suspensions and no permanent ban.

yeah i know you can reconnect but it didn't let me, and i was over half way through the match and winning.. funny part was, someone else disconnected and i said "lets hope they join back, we cant win without our tank" and less than 5 mins after i disconnect

according to blizz it is. since disconnecting to them is very unacceptable and you're ruining the game for 4 others. it's their way of saying "Get better internet or we ban you forever"

This is an funny comment because most of the disconnects come from the fact that OW2 is a poorly developed game.

I have bad internet too. So I'm not gonna play ranked. Make sure your internet is stable before going to ranked. My only advice.
