i mean unless your supports are afk or throwing you will get healed eventually, playing through different ranks as tank what i've noticed is that you will usually get healed faster the higher in rank you go, you just have to wait for them tbh

try slowing down your gameplay, play cover and give yourself time for the dps passive to turn off, also don't let anyone get into a 1v1 with your supports and don't let flanks get close to them

idk im just trying to give advice on how to play tank this season, i'm not saying tanking is good or bad but i do think tanks kind of suck a little rn

i'm masters peak but i have played in every rank under it as well

I'm not a Tank main, and the most Tank I play is when I'm doing the weekly 'All Roles' challenge, but I can tell you one thing and that is playing Tank in this season is not as good as before. With the recent changes, healing is not as effective, so you need your Supports to survive and acutally help with finishing targets. As Tank, a lot of times I see my Damage distracted by something and initiating a fight elsewhere and baiting my Supports, or they're just not doing enough damage/healing. The Tank is needed to hold the frontlines, and he relies and believes on his backline not getting baited or diffed.

In other words, teams don't give their Tanks enough authority when it comes to taking fights. Tanking is like doing community service this season.

Remove supports as well. So it can be DPS-only game. Sick of hearing "I need healing" everytime when they can just hide in corner and wait health regen.

because seems to me he understand what i said and take it serious, try to advice me, and cause this part: try slowing down your gameplay, play cover... make me consider some stuff about the actual state of the game, maybe i should change the way i play or adjust taking what he said in mind

i make these words my own, i agree with everything, this season things isn't going well to tank role as use to be past seasons

they should reduce the dps passive to only 10% for tanks instead of 20%

Just delete Overwatch 2 at this point. After the massive hitbox mess, this isn't even an FPS game anymore.
