Why we loose progress in ranked matches if we get people who play 2-5 min and leave the game or rage quit and we need to play with 4 players to the end ? Can devs do something about that ? I don't want to loose my progress and rank because someone rage quit.

Because this system would often be abused. You could have a smurf on your team or someone who doesnt care about rank and then you ask them to leave when u see you are about to lose the game. It would be stupid, i know it sucks losing sr when someone dc's but the current system is pretty fair.

Its not fair at all. Match just should be abandoned and DC get banned and everyone will be happy. If they dont want to play why we should get loose on our accounts. Just abandon match when someone is more than 3 min disconnected. Mostly i see this in silver rank, in gold and bronze i didnt see leavers(DC)

In Splatoon 3, losses don't count if one of your teammates leaves. I feel like that should be a thing in Overwatch as long as the leaver gets enough of a penalty

Did you even read the message you resoponded to? The problem with that would be that one person could tank the loss for team. Also it would be quite frustrating if your on the winning side and the match just getch cancelled even thou you were just winning it
