Game always dowloads something when opening

Sorry for bad english but idk what else to do. Every single time I open the game through steam, it downloads something. Every time. Not once a week or once a day, every time. If I close it and instantly open it again the game once more downloads something. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know, thank you everyone.

I forgot to mention this but it usually takes around 10-20 minutes to finish, with 1000 mbps internet.

thanks for the tip. just a heads up, I'm wired in with ethernet on my PC since my tower doesn't do wifi and I only have one router. Not entirely sure if that's what you meant though.

If nothing works, try out other pc class based FPSs on steam. There’s many, but Titanfall 2, Team Fortress 2, and (I hear is good but idk) Paladins are all good games that are all in the same genre, class based multiplayer FPS.

idk why i haven't tried that yet. yeah game must be corrupted or some files must have corrupted during installation, i'll verify the integrity of the files, thanks.

thank you for the suggestion but I have around 300 hours on paladins and around 1300 hours on TF2, i just wanna play other things man xd

it did not worked. It keeps downloading stuff when I hit play on steam. I think I give up, is not a killer for me cause once the game opens most of it is fine (except for when the game kicks me out on certain ocassions. What's worst about that is that it takes it as if I was the one quitting so it punishes me, but is not like I want to play this too much so i dont care) but is really tedious having to wait 20 minutes everytime, so I think I just have to play it on blizzard's launcher. Is kinda crazy how indie games don't do this kind of crap on steam but a multibillion dollar corporation does. lol. Anyways thanks everyone

damn sorry man, you can try battlenet if you really want to play but i assume you want to play it on steam

there is also a ddos attack on the game going on right now so that could be why you got kicked

I'm having the same issue as well. I thought it was just me. It started happening recently.

try to clear your steam download cache go to settings > download > cleare change

My solution was using blizzard launcher. I never fixed this.
