What do you think of the new ranked system?

Honestly i feel like win streaks don't give you enough. The matches feel very unbalanced, sometimes i dont recognize the rank im in, sometimes im put in matches that feel like 1 skill tier below me, and today i had a game that felt like it was at least 1 skill tear above me, and when i lost the game told me that i wasnt supposed to lose that match... what?

edit: Don't comment on what meta changes you want, like map bans or hero bans. i want to know what is your experience with the matchmaking in terms of skill and ranks (considering the season 9 changes to the ranked system)

some people are chill but other has nonsense in thier minds

i think team-mates flame each other because of this mismatch of skill, today i even saw a rank 1 player "Awkward" get stuck in plat 2 for 4 hours (17 games) because of this new ranked system (in the past he was in GM1 within the same time).

in some way i kinda like the progress but with the new system you really need to care for win rather than how you're doing with the game, if you have bad friend you casually play know you will getting more losses than win

i has played 4 hours before 15 games to be exact and the problem is this.

If the tank want to be pocket healed he would like the idea if other members of the team recieve less health points

if the dps want to blame other people from the match for focus in him he would afk in the spawn also if the see the other people has been stealing the kills he would afk in spawn and call other skilless and trolls besides he is afk in first place

and the healer main problem they blame to each other the topics are common ana grenade, battle mercy, chat voice insulting each other and doing C9 every darn time, chat texts saying gg ez and blizz censorshiping the word.

then the problems in the maps
we cant choose the map of they want
we cant ban heroes when the match is prestarting
some people has been stuck in the bottom of the map and then being kicked by the system
some poeple quit the match and the server closes
Lost connection problems

i dont understand where youre going with this, i asked about the ranked system and matchmaking, not meta stuff like map bans, which btw i dont care about, I want to reach #1 player in the world and that means i'm #1 no matter what my team picks and no matter the map, my problem is i cant reach that rank because the game doesnt allow you to reach that rank

ranked is pretty good, we just need a hero ban system and maybe a way to pick maps would be nice

so many tinfoil hat theorist on this forum think it's rigged and they deserve a higher rank, but when people who are top 500 can consistently climb to their rank, i think it's doing it's job

you linked a video of the old ranked system, and top 500 players do get stuck in ranks that they are not supposed to be in, i.e: Awkward (he reached rank 1 in OW1 and OW2) today streamed U2GM on lucio and after his 10 game placements (2 loses 8 wins) he placed plat 2, after 7 more games (he lost his 2 first matches so he was on a 15 game win streak) he still was plat 2.
i get it you want map and hero ban, but i don't think this would change the fact that top 500 players in this new ranked system get stuck in plat.

in the old system by the same time the game figured out what his actual rank is.
wining 7 games in a row 5 skill tiers below your rank shouldn't keep you at that rank.
why would a ranked system allow a top 500 player to play against plat players?

can you link an U2GM from Awkward that happened this season (season 9) in the new ranked system except today's lucio U2GM?

It's still the same kind of trash it was before, only worse. This game and the entirety of Blizzard really deserve to die. As a company they essentially became worthless once Activision started grooming them.

i think microsoft are taking good care of Activisiton, the upcoming battle-pass and mythic skins changes sound amazing, and they for the first time nerfed their changes in under a week.
