Question about Silenced Accounts

So, I recently got my account silenced. I found it shocking, but I'm basically unable to talk in public VC for 13 days. I didn't even get a warning, nor do I even use public VC during matches. Before you ask, no I'm not a toxic gamer, out of anything, I defend myself from toxic players, but Blizzard doesn't see that.

I recently saw that my endorsement level went from 5 to 1, and I'm shocked. Is it a temporary endorsement revoke or is it permanent? I know endorsement levels doesn't really matter much, but I worked so hard to reach that level and to be a good teammate. So basically, my question is, will I receive my level 5 endorsement back after my 13 day ban?

Also, Blizzard sucks. Like so many other people have said worse things in VC and in chat, but I don't see them getting banned. I didn't even get a warning.

Having your Endorsement Level reset is part of being Silenced. Sorry to inform you, but once it has ended you will have to work to get your Endorsement back to 5.

Being silenced makes no sense in a game around comms...Hurts team mates more than the person that's silenced

Your teammates also do not know you are Silenced and since you can't text or voice chat you have no way of telling them. Theoretically if you play Competitive while Silenced you could be reported for being unresponsive or if your team perceives that you're ignoring them.

Actual useful information regarding being Silenced is hard to come by since whenever you try to start a topic on Blizzard forums it almost immediately is closed (or at least it was in the past). Appealing it is also useless since Blizzard will find a way for you to relinquish your right to know the reason.

Don't bother defending yourself against toxic people, just ignore it and move on. You'll 100% be the one who gets silenced/banned for it.

Dude, I'm not even being a hypocrite. I would literally defend myself against the toxic players. I've never said anything rude to people, rather I've shown kindness. People can be petty, and frankly I'm being punished for defending myself. But sure, think I'm the toxic one. If I was the toxic one, I wouldn't care about anything, but I do care. I care about this game and I care about my status in the game.

Having your Endorsement Level reset is part of being Silenced. Sorry to inform you, but once it has ended you will have to work to get your Endorsement back to 5.

I've noticed, it hurts, but I'm determined to reach level 5 one day. I was able to do it once, might as well do it again. Thank you though!

This game is dogwater. You get silenced from arguing against toxic trash npcs. Just take huge dump on the them and move on. Why would you let this shi.t of a year make you feel bad about yourself??
