removing a game from your account

does removing a game from my account remove my progression? by progression i mean levels and heroes

Probably not because "Overwatch 2" is online-only and your progress is tied to the BattleNet account. So if you remove "Overwatch 2" from your Steam Account your progress is still saved there on Blizzard servers, and if you ever decide to play "Overwatch 2" straight from BattleNet launcher you should resume your progress.
