yay 4 DPS teammates lets goo no one but you (and the enemies for some reason) is willing to play support/tank
honestly i would stay away from open role queue.
I'm sorry you are so unlucky, when I start the game i say lets go 3 tanks 2 heals and we steamroll all the time.
You could even play mystery heroes! Where no one can pick! Wowowowowowo!
Tankwatch is pretty brutal it does make for some great brawls if you get the other team to do the same
Sometimes i think most people just have all chat muted because of the bad eggs that go ham in the chat when something goes wrong, and then it hurts the good players that just wanna communicate about teamplay. It sucks
Doubt it has anything to do with balance.
Tanks are generally harder to play, need your team to work around them to get the most value out of them, and are incredibly reliant on thing like people taking advantage of space or having good supports to show what they can do.
It's an extremely fun role in a proper team, but far less so in randoms/solo queue.
