Why do you get suspended for leaving midgame in a quick play match?

this is unranked quickplay i play quickplay/casual so i dont have to plan 15 minutes into the future.

I couldn't really care less about leavers before, but now it's just the worst thing.

Leavers are actually staying and throwing matches instead.

The general morale of the OW player base is at an all time low.

It's like no one is even having fun

it's not about winning or losing you clown, it's about having a non-game because people are constantly dropping out leaving the lobby unifinished. it's about the person who is chosen to have less fun from the queue to band-aid the lobby instead of getting to join a fresh game.

if you had to leave anyway, the ban is just giving you more time to do whatever critical thing came up in the last five minutes that you couldn't forsee

honestly, try thinking about this from the perspective of any person who is dealing with you instead of just yourself.

instead of fixing the reasons why people leave like the horrendous matchmaking and pay2win heroes in the first place they skipped to the second step of punishing leavers (in a casual mode btw) instead

what’s sad is overwatch 1 , a game 100 times better than this ♥♥♥♥ didn’t have penalties for quickplay throughout its entire lifespan, i wonder why . ow2 is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage
