That's what's going on
Lol
anti-cheat doesn't exist to combat cheaters. It exists to give players a false sense of security.
Anti-cheat can only detect that which it's been taught how to detect.. meaning as soon as the detection method is understood it's just a matter of finding a means to circumvent it or bypass it entirely, it maybe difficult but rarely is it impossible..
All proactively trying to combat cheaters does encourage the cheat maker to make better cheats, as well as potentially placing innocent players into the line of fire..
It's not a battle developers can win, any only make worse by trying to win.
Blizzard is smart to handle it as passive aggressively as they do.. because if an undetectable cheat was created.. I gurantee you the playerbase would be flooded with cheaters.. who would be the people who have beef with blizzard, and want to burn the game to the ground.
I'm one of those people.. but have much more effective methods of contributing to the game's death that don't violate the ToS..
Less "cringe" than your stats..
Cry to blizzard tell them to fix their matchmaking system.... or start demanding they punish bad players for being bad
Thats literally the only ways to stop me, but both options also put players like you at risk..
Neither are a threat to me.. start punishing bads? I stop pretending to be one.. fix the matchmaking system, I can carry my own weight so I'm not dependent on the current system to compensate for me
Got any ideas on systems that would work?
commissioner Gordon, I think we need the help of the bat for this one !
...
now I understand why Batman is so depressed having to deal with characters like this guy every day
Doesn't matter, as the matchmaking system isn't designed to make fair matches.. it's designed to keep players above a 40% average win rate
Literally all they need to do is remove the win rate thresholds from the matchmaking system.. it won't solve the problem but show drastic improvement over time.
It's not ever going to happen, however, because the moment thresholds were removed, a Ton of players who finally support the game, will start getting mad and begin quitting, because they would no longer be able to rely on the matchmaking to compensate and would actually be forced to learn and grow to see any form of consistent wins.
Blizzard whole market strategy is to prey upon stupidity and ignorance, which is the main thing that separates good players from bad ones.
The matchmaking system exists to retain the people who are to stupid or lazy to learn and grow, because they are the people who most commonly throw money around blindly..
Blizzard doesnt care if it it makes one-sided matches as long as it helps retain the people stupid enough to throw money at the game...
Which looking at the state of the playerbase now, compared to a year ago.. it does a really good job of that.. considering the playerbase as a whole is drastically more ignorant of the game now than it was a year ago...
It's that worsening of the playerbase that has forced matchmaking to make flagrantly onesided matches in order to maintain win rates for the weak players..
I'm a veteran. I can tell you this.
We got a new aimbot going on, works like the aim assist, it targets you badly. (I feel those shots) I encounter a BOT in ranked. (I play with my team, we all saw it, crazy stuff). And yes, there's a lot of people smurfing or cheat in rank. It's frustrating. The moment you kill the guy that's cheating, the whole match changes. My piece of advice. Report. But I'm not optimist with the current game situation. WIN FAST, LOSE FAST, have a SUPER HARD MATCH just to lose. Not worth it.
