Why are people still playing?

Not to hate on anyone who enjoys playing the game, but like. I don't get why people are still playing especially after blizzard ♥♥♥♥ on its fans after the pve thing. Like it left me practically heartbroken hearing that the last few years was just a false promise, and all these shop updates are nuts like 20 dollars for a skin So can anyone explain like, whats keeping you guys to play the game. especially people who have been playing since like 2017 like I was

im playing for skill based pvp. + Different heroes makes every game feels different like mobas.
Peoples are still playing battle royale games. Farming minutes for one combat. Makes no sense to me but dsnt means battle royale games sucks. We have different tastes.

Because apart from all the scandals, broken promises and anti-consumer monetization, the art design, the Heroes and the actual gameplay is still top tier.

This is what keeps players engaged even though there is vast competition on the market. To this day the Overwatch world has something unique that no other game has despite its many problems.

i would say everything legacy looks good, the ♥♥♥♥ they're dropping now looks ass (cept sojurn or whatever)

For me: I like the design even if it's been the same for years, also it's fun, the habilities are interesting and the gameplay is FAST! OW has been compared with many games but they'll never have all that.
