It's the most hated Diablo game by far, even more than Immortal (which is turning out to be quite decent these days if you can ignore its blatant P2W core).

They intentionally made D4 as 💩 as it could possibly be in order to keep people playing Immortal, because everyone was saying Immortal would instantly die upon D4's release. Instead, it's D4 that pretty much died on arrival.

And now they expect the last 50-100 active D4 players remaining to actually pay again to play it on Steam.

You just can't make this up. Just when you thought Blizzard couldn't possibly sink any lower, they find ways to surprise you.

When EA introduced Sims 4 to Steam, it necessiated buying it again as well.
Same was true for Bethesda's Fallout 76 until the Great Migration from their launcher.
Same was true as well for some Ubisoft titles...

this isn't even a point. it's like being surprised your ms store or psn games dont work on steam

Doesn't matter if that's the case or not.

The point is that Blizzard have been pooping on their bed for the longest time, and instead of actually trying to improve their standing with all the people who have been paying their bills for decades, they instead continue to actively raise our ire.

Immortal gets the new class, while D4 gets copy/pasted trash from 20+ years & the stupidest game director possible.

And on top of that, S2 is another massive joke with trash content that doesn't even remotely entice long-gone players to return.

- make random character gay (RELEASE THE 76 !!)
- fire the director of the only unique and playable game mode production (RIP SC2 Co-op)

- make Refunded Resuracted Remake, charge twice as much
- mobile spinoff nobody asked for, anyone?
- increase Bobby Kotick's Golden Parachute
- provoke a scandal with some workplace harassment or whatever is in the trend here and now
- remove free legacy games, make an overpriced bundle with these (RIP Lost Vikings etc)
