thats what im thinking too
Retail wow, WC3 Refunded, D3 and D4 would Join OW2 in the bottomless pit of negative reviews.
Pretty sure Activision doesn't care about reviews and any other point of view for it than pure incorporate greed from Bobby and investors is pure copium.
I can imagine they thought, Overwatch could reach the bright Shooter Community on Steam (Csgo, CoD, Battlefield, TF2, Paladins, etc.) And it probably achieved that. I mean yes, worst rated game on Steam (nobody can tell me they didnt't know that outcome once they cancelled PVE). But they also probably made a few 10ks or 100ks of it, and even if they could bind a few persons to the live service battle pass ingame shop hell, it's a W for Actision.
I'm pretty sure, if DIablo 4 continues to be rechieved this bad by the playerbase, they will start releasing Diablo titles to Steam, hope to pick up some PoE or Last Epoch players.
At least I can rather see that games coming to Steam than the Warcraft Games. Steam really doesn't have a large cardgame playerbase (If you don't count games like Slay the spire, because those games are SIngleplayer and/or not monetized).
And I'm sure Activision will wait with such a business move with WoW until currently highly anticipated MMOs like the Riot one, Star Citizen or Ashes of Creation will eventually come out.
