I know that a majority of the people who leave games are rage quitters who just want an instant win.
However, there has to be room for those who lose connection, have stuff they have to do. Get called away from their pc, and a mess of other real life situations.
I understand in competitive, that leavers are scum. But in QP you have to give space for those who think of this as just a game. Because that's what it is. Not everyone can jump into a game without life getting in the way.
And this elitist mentality that everyone has to stay all the time or else they are banned, or just ridiculed for having to prioritize reality is just ridiculous and dehumanizing.
Also, I don't know what you mean by it doesn't happen. I have people leave my games all the time.
Oh boy I would love for you to join my queue. 4 healers + 1 dps. A heal bot bap with 200 dmg. A 50 dmg tracer. I can't even count the amount of brainless doomfists.
Yea no joke. Of course a lot of these people leave 75% through the map. A lot of them stay.
Those are the ones that need to quit. There is no rage there because they are completely ignorant of what is going on.
But hey, you better stay and play with them or else we penalize YOU!
And you didn't read what I said.
Again... You have to leave room for the fact that we are human and have interruptions.
Your mentality about how people should be more punished for leaving, is elitist. You expect everyone to be able to sit in a 10-20 minute game without having to leave.
It wasn't a contradiction, it was QP vs Comp. Yes, people who go into Comp and then bail are scum. Because they knew they were going into comp. However you still need to understand in your mind that people sometimes have valid reasons for leaving.
QP there should be no punishment. Because we are human. It's just a game.
Yeah... So we aren't allowed to have new players? We aren't allowed to have players with disabilities?
People who don't process information as fast as you aren't allowed to play this GAME.... Because of your elitist mentality? Alright dude.
Do you know why they created visual representation of where hits are coming from?
wtf?
It's just all the more excuse to play deathmatch and ignore objectives when I get matched with trash...
They get punished or are forced to take a loss due to their own inability..
Because I'm sure not going to help the matchmaking system maintain their mininum win rate average they don't deserve..
Ah, a wonderful team player. Much like that healer last night who told our Ashe that she isn't worth healing.
Really making this team based game, enjoyable for all.
You guys are the ones who shouldn't be playing this.

Deaf player having a hard time playing Overwatch, is there any solution?
Hi, I am an almost fully deaf Overwatch player and my condition hinders my enjoyment of the game and ability to participate and contribute as much as those with clearer hearing.
I know hearing is a crucial part of this game for both hearing the movement of the enemy to knowing when an ult is being triggered so you can help your team avoid it. Unfortunately I am unable to hear ults and footsteps especially during gunfights and find myself dying to them on too many occasions. Unless I visually see an ult I don't know if one is coming and usually by the time I see it, it is too late to avoid or counter it.
I am seeking a possible solution to help those with hearing impairments enjoy the game more. Overwatch already supports options for colourblind people so I think an option for hearing aid would be a welcome addition if it is provided in a way which will not give any advantages.I know it is not possible to have any visual cues for footsteps but for ults I think a visual cue to indicate an ult has been triggered would help deaf players tremendously.
I have created a possible concept of how this could be achieved. The portrait of the hero ulting and his/her voice line written underneath. The colours would change to indicate if an ult on your team is fired or if its the enemy. This way it provides visual aid for those that can't hear clearly to synergise ults in a team play or prepare to avoid and/or counter an enemy ult.
Here is an example of how it would appear if an enemy McCree ulted, the portrait and voice line would pop up with a glow and clearly show that an ult is incoming.
You're the reason people feel uncomfortable playing this if they don't meet the minimum standards of an ableist society.
Cry to blizzard, there the ones who created the matchmaking system..
I'd still heal them..
I'm more the guy who would intentionally pick lucio/zen if the other support picked the other..
I'm the damage player who can kill that can shutdown that pharah dominating us, but decides to play junkrat or tracer ...
I'll help win an objective fight.. but I won't contest or help capture it..
Long story short, I actively blend in among the trash players.. so if you want to be salty about it, more power to you..
Infact I actively encourage you to report bad players, on the assumption they are just intentionally playing badly.. :D
It's not toxic. It's facts based on your responses.
Don't respond like that if you don't like being told the reality of your personality.
You just find it toxic.
"The seething oozes through your monitor." -Bait
"Lol rent free in your head all day baby!!!" -Bait
What exactly am I stating to you that makes you believe that I am baiting you? When you keep posting about you being in my head with bait....
Responding to you, isn't you living in my head, or that I'm seething.
