Rank system is a little bad

So I was playing with a friend and I won 4 matches while playing alone and I won another 2 with said friend. After winning those 2 games I won 6 in total so I was eligible for a rank change I dealt 17k dmg and had 34 kills which was highest in the team 2nd to only our tank which was about the same.

So the rank change screen showed and I dropped 2 ranks from silver 2 to silver 4, ok sure I'm pretty sure those people in silver 4 are going to love it.

yeah the devs finally acknowledge that the ranking system are terrible, they say they would fix it by 2024

I concur- when 8/10 games are severely one sided there is a huge problem with the game.

You mean just like how the fixed the matchmaking system after launch? lol.

By making it slighly more tolerable.. which lasted for all of a few weeks before it started getting worse again

Try having to win 50 QP games b/f you get into ranked...want to seriously unleash as much toxicity as possible on everyone b/c of Blizzard and their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game

It's stomp or be stomped with nothing in between. That's the definition of a crappy matchmaking system. Then you've got the t500 smurfs who's on alt accounts, deranking to troll lower elo lobbies. Honestly there are too many factors playing in here, though.

Blizzard does know how to fix it, they just don't want to, because the only ones they listen to, are the streamers and OWL players. The rest of us don't matter to them. Our opinions don't matter to them.

Blame it on horrible management from upper to lower management and greed.

Nope, you should blame it on players. They're playing the game no matter what it is or how it is. Not the devs. Devs have mega huge brains to keep it going so far. Otherwise, the horse would die years ago...

I said, very clearly, the management. Management is not the same as the devs who code, make 3D art, models etc. Management is Walter Kong, Aaron Keller, Jared Neuss and Bobby Kotick. They're the ones to blame.

You don't blame players for the state of the game. You blame the people in charge of the game for the state it's in.

Players play games because they're passionate about them. Some keep playing because of attachement but still have hopes that things will get better. The latter is the case for OW2. People still play it because they hope it'll get better. Then there's new players coming in every single day because the game went from B2P to F2P.

Where did i say OW2 should be cancelled? Again, you can't even read the words that are right in front of you on a monitor.. Just stop this nonsense. Read The Entire Post You Reply To.

Yet, I can read, and behind all the little talks and big talks, controversies etc, It clearly says this:
"We hate ow2. We even hate ow1, but it was still better. Anyway, we will continue playing OW2. BTW, this new Seasonal Skin is so good, i'm going to buy it. I blitzed those 50 games... like they were so ez and boring<.<
Play open queue (not joking) the format is 2-1-2 so 2 tanks, 1 dps, and 2 supports. It's basically old overwatch (granted the 2-1-2 format is really only consistently played in diamond+)

I never seen this happening but i happen to have plat players and i'm only silver player. I never seen it happening in OW1 Comp.
