- The Animated shorts
Thanks for reading
OW is not FPS game only, it's also fighting game if you play Doomfist, racing game if you play Hammond, flying game if you play Pharah or Echo, Melee combat game if you play Brigitte or Reinhardt, MOBA game if you play certain modes with certain heroes, FPS game if you play Ashe, Widowmaker, Cassidy.
the game require good vertical aim up and down not only horizontal left and right like Valorant or CSGO because it has flying heroes like Echo and Pharah.
very hard to master, you need a lot time to be good in one hero.
the character and abilities design is top notch just look at Hammond you will see how the idea behind his design and his abilities, and ultimate is something you can't find in any other games.
playing Overwatch makes you better in other games, like what happened with Valorant launch OW players destroyed CSGO players even tho Valorant is closer to CSGO than OW.
Overwatch animated shorts are the best, for example these :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKYVvPNhRR0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9acxn7qAST4
the game is for everyone, if you have good aim pick Ashe, if you have bad aim pick Winston, if you are deaf it has options for deaf people with icons on the screen, if you are edgy play Genji, if you are lovely person play Mercy, if you are coward play Sombra.
the voice acting is tier S, just listen to Sombra voice lines, to Sigma voice lines, to Ana voice lines, and Torb voice lines, and most other heroes.
the workshop you can make any crazy thing you can imagine, many people using it to create insane custom games like this :

OW is small only around 20gb.
crossply you can play with all your console friends, not only Xbox and PlayStation but also switch.
settings for everything, there are settings for everything in OW, pages and pages of settings to customize your game exactly like you want.
server based anti cheat, no need to install any anti cheat on your PC, the anti cheat run on the server and very effective.
i can talk from now to tomorrow, i can type pages about why OW is a superior game, but its not worth it now because the forum lack serious threads or legit people having legit discussions.
And as far as Overwatch players beating Valorant players, how many of them crutched Raze or Reyna? Genuinely, because there is such little skill or team involvement with those two you can quite literally 1v9. And I highly doubt that in high elo matches any casual Overwatch player who doesn't have to aim for multiple characters will have the map knowledge, aim, or reaction time necessary to play Valorant at that level.
Also are we really calling Overwatch a MOBA? MOBAs tend to require strategy, teamwork, and a lot of micro, and are some of the hardest games to get into because of such. Overwatch you hire somebody to pocket you as Mercy while you play Pharah or Sojourn and get carried for free. Screw your other 3 teammates. At its core, Overwatch is a FPS only, and a very bland one at that with very little to offer.
Blizzard has made their point very clear between the cancellation of PvE, the destruction of Overwatch 1, the new shop system, and the battle pass, that they only care about short-term profits over long-term players.
Character design tends to be very mid at best. Genuine changes that would benefit the game and highly raise the skill ceiling, were shoved in as an April fools update. Tanks have been in such a disastrous state since the switch to 5v5 the role is unplayable, you're just a garbage DPS with a massive hitbox. I say this, as an ex-Sigma main. Supports get catered to left right and center, and are so babied by Blizzard because nobody wants to be a Support unless they're in a ridiculously broken state. Lifeweaver (despite his controls) was fine at launch but the fact he WASN'T a turbobroken 1v9 character, everybody hated him. The design and balance of the game is so far in the gutter it's not even funny. Every time a genuinely good change is made to raise a character's skill, people cry about it because they have no idea how to play without a crutch. If TF2 and Paladins are bowling, Overwatch 2 is bumper pinball to avoid gutters.
Space & Optimization? Okay I give Blizzard credit there. The game is like 40 gb and can run on a potato. But so can, y'know, TF2? Or most other good shooters? Why bother with Overwatch comparatively when every single time Blizzard says or does ANYTHING the game gets worse?
And this whole thing is just about Overwatch not even Blizzard itself. God the things they do with that money is atrocious. Using it to sweep lawsuits under the rug and avoid responsibility for their abhorrent actions, while publicly taking people like myself from different communities such as the LGBTQ+, and using them as pawns for publicity by feigning concern with "representation" every time something releases about Blizzard as a company. Lifeweaver was announced when Blizzard got slammed by the Overwatch League over how they treat their players. Soldier 76 was canonically gay, after the publications of SA in the workplace. The fact we refuse to call them out on that is sad, we aren't seen as people to them. Just a way to keep their image cleaner than what it really is.

All of this, written on Steam.
'Bout tree fiddy.
and i didn't said OW players beating Valorant players, i said when Valorant released and was a new game everyone trying it, OW players were beating other games players in Valorant such as CSGO players, even when Valorant is closer game to CSGO than OW, OW players were doing better than them in Valorant.
do even TF2 have competitive mode?? please be reasonable.
OW characters designs are miracles happened in real life. no other games close to it.
Moira obviously beats Zarya in a 1v1. Zarya is at worst a 2v2 hero. If she does not have a partner to shield, one of her abilities is never useable. She is also a tempo hero who will almost never be good when infinite stalling is an option.
Moira is one of the strongest 1v1 heroes in the game since she can self-sustain so effectively while having a strong get-out-of-jail skill on a 5 second cooldown. Obviously anyone can beat a Zarya with a Moira.
The game is balanced around 5v5 (or 6v6 previously), and 1v1 is only really worth to play on mirrors consisting usually of DPS heroes, or very specific matchups.
This is just plain wrong. Why do You think GOAT META plagued Overwatch 1? Because tanks were actually the stronger DPS. There was almost no reason to play any DPS hero if given the choice. Role Queue and the forced 2-2-2 essentially made DPS a playable role, but only because the opponent team was forced to waste 2 hero slots on DPS heroes as well, not because DPS was in a good position. And even then, people mainly picked Doomfist and Reaper, who were effectively tanks themselves since, per fight, Doomfist gained hundreds of armor (if not thousand plus), and Reaper regenerated hundreds of HP.
We skip forwards to Overwatch 2, where tanks got massively buffed. So tanks were already overshadowing DPS heroes in Overwatch 1. But now they are buffed even harder so they could protect the team on their own since 2nd tank no longer exists. And You're telling me tanks are weaker DPS?
Since You play Sigma, here are some stats:
Sigma's DPS: 73.3.
Genji's DPS: 92 (75.87 overall with reload).
Sigma's DPS is like 2 damage per second lower than Genji's if we include reload time. Meanwhile, he has twice the base HP, excluding armor and his actual barrier and Kinetic Grasp. Before the nerf to Accretion's damage output, he could one-shot 200 HP heroes much more effectively than Genji or most DPS really.
If we compare different aspects of the game, tanks usually score highest. Fastest hero to reach the point is Wrecking Ball (tank), then Lucio (healer), then Doomfist (pseudo tank now full tank), then probably Soldier (DPS). DPS is the last on the list. The strongest ultimate is probably Zarya's Graviton Surge. The weakest ultimate? Probably Tracer's, or Bastion's. If we look at best heroes in 1v1, its easily Roadhog, he was the best hero in Death Match.
There was a reason for GOAT to exist. When Overwatch 2 released, people picked 3 tank 2 healers in Open Queue. Now DPS is a playable role in Open Queue, but only because they nerfed tanks. If tanks were inferior DPS, why would people pick 3 tanks 2 healers? Why would tanks need to get a specific role nerf? Its because they are everything but weak. They are the strongest.
