The Microsoft deal will go through, Sony is out of the picture and now we see Overwatch on Steam to cash out before the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Battle.net launcher becomes obsolete because the only thing it had is exclusivity. Just wait for all the other Blizzard titles to suddenly appear soon. One step closer to abolishment of medieval exclusivity tactics.

tbf the newer MW2 doesn't require the battlenet launcher and the OW2 store page only mentions a blizzard account rather than a launcher where EA and Ubisoft games specifically say launcher.

Not only have I seen the description: I have also read it. Apparently those are two different things. Check any EA game and the 3rd Party requirements. Maybe you can spot the difference. Also Microsoft doesn't force any other launchers in any other of their games.

You know these new call of duty games(Vanguard, MW 1 MW 2 and such) that they released do require an account but not Battlenet. They require Activision Account.
