Bl*zzard deserves a class-action lawsuit
https://overwatch.blizzard.com/en-us/news/23988667/director-s-take-looking-beyond-overwatch-2-invasion/
Devs are continuing to insult the fanbase and still acting completely oblivious about the situation.

Anyone knows good lawyer and have enough money to go to court? Legal action seems to only language that corpos like these could understand.

It's a drastic and yet a quite impossible action, because I can just only imagine how much money would be needed to raise a lawsuit against them, and most of all i don't know if any lawyer would take part of this. Maybe a good point where to start, even if not for all, could be raising a crowfunding to prepare the lawsuit.

The problem is it is a F2P game. They said, here is this F2P game, and we are working on a PvE content. But nowhere is written that they have to deliver this PvE content. If they sold the game, that would be different story. When you think about it, maybe that is why they released the game as Overwatch "2", to avoid legal consequences if something happens. Sadly, I don't think we can do much legally, but people need to stop giving money to ActiBlizz. That is the only way, vote with your wallet.
What about the people who paid for Overwatch 1? Servers has been shut down and there's no way to play it or get same experience from Overwatch 2 (6 v 6 for example).

people who paid for OW 1 would havve pvp portion of OW 2 free but PVE wouls still cost money. So same situation as now but difference is that everyone has OW pvp for free now

Yeah but everythings hot garbage now. People should protect their rights. Voting with wallets isn't just enough. Also there'd be slaves to that said product that nulls your "wallet vote".

This is not to defend blizz or ow, but game lawyers would be outta job quickly, everyone would just wait for - 90% sale or complain lawyers costing too much.

Hello I wasted my time in TF2 where can I file a lawsuit
There is no TF3 and devs abandoned the game entirely

I even payed for CS:GO then they forced updated the game two times and changed it entirely and giving me a game called CS2 which I didn't pay for and they made the game free and added battle pass instead of operations
and there is no free souvenir packages from tournaments and dragon lore from match drops

You could try it if you have the resources?
Ask your lawyer first.
(This is not a legal advice for the record)

Legal system is P2W, no chance.

You see, that is the sad reality of live-service games. You can't do anything about it because you don't own the game. You have to understand these companies pay obscene amount of money to lawyers so they don't have to go through that s**t. I don't know what happened with Bethesda and Fallout 76 class action lawsuit, but most likely it went nowhere.
what the hell is the point of that halfassed censorship?

There is a precedent, however, in that when they knowingly canceled PvE internally a year before release while still telling the community it was coming several months after launching the game could be construed as a bait and switch to string people along and imply the need to purchase things like the Battlepass.

There's also a possible link between how they took what was free in Overwatch (Archives missions), made little to no changes to them, and repackaged them as the Invasion missions for premium purchase that it could be seen as something that contributes to a pattern of shady consumer practices.

Yup, the same thing they're doing with League of Legends right now and their predatory FOMO gacha tactics. I threw in 30 euro's and got nothing out of it, literally gambling. There wasn't even notified that stuff gets pulled out of their event at all. There are a ton of vocal people, but the rest just tells you to eat it up, "that's just how the industry works", I replied with "so are we supposed to stand by and let it happen?", which the other replied saying simply "yes.". That's how they got us by the balls. There used to be lawsuit against lootboxes, namely Battlefront 2 started this MASSIVE controversy and now it's considered gambling, but that doesn't stop the suits from figuring out new ways to cash in money.

These live service tactics are getting out of hand, we have to come all together and stop this madness, from all gaming communities, namely the live service ones.
