Me too. The battle pass sucks and even the cosmetics and voice lines gotten worse compared to lootboxes. I feel like the new version is way more of a rip-off than OW1

You realize that you didn't have to pay for loot boxes right? Maybe you should have actually played OW1 before jumping on the "OW2 is good bandwagon".

You had 2 options, simply play the game and you get loot boxes for free for various leveling etc. Or if getting 5-20 loot boxes a day wasn't good enough for you, you could then purchase more loot boxes.

I got 4 legendary skins in a single day from 4 hours of play simply by loot boxes being earned while my account was leveling up it's fancy profile portrait border. It was fun.

This new system, it's not fun. It's true predatory. And you're dumb if you'd rather have it instead.

You got 3 weekly boxes from playing arcade modes plus everytime you leveled up you got a lootbox which if you played regularly and it was main game, you leveled up alot.

Then once you got alot of stuff unlocked you got coins for duplicates which you saved up to buy what you want.

I never felt like I needed to buy any loot boxes and would usually save up like 75 of them before opening them all at once. I unlocked probably 90% of the items and skins in that game just from playing before they killed it and put OW2 in it's place and I haven't touched it since.

Although I always felt the paying money for digital slot machine rolls kinda felt scummy because there are people with gambling addictions that it definetly preyed on people with those types of tendencies.
