How come I keep playing against the same people in Quick Play...
...I thought the game had 1.6 million players? Or was it 800 000? Or was it "most players are not on Steam"? What was that senseless, sourceless defense again?

How can your world be so small if it is, according to you, so big? What is this ♥♥♥♥. I can play against Poopypants 4 times in a row but I can't have a fun PVE? What a load of bernacles.

I keep giving this game a chance and all I get is either steamrolling the enemy team, get steamrolled by a funny horse or just get bored on New Junk City. You shills are defending an empty shell. There's no fun. This is just pure trash.

sorry Poopypants I forgot your name but I know you have pants in your name and I love you too I will Bastion into the heavens for you until this key-jangling bores me to death I guess

game is based around your mmr rating when in quickplay so that probably why. That, and the fact that they most likely queued up the same time as you then you also have a higher change is meeting again. And most players aren't on steam. An astronomical amount of people are still playing on the blizzard app over of steam.

Has my MMR not changed since I started this game 20 hours ago? I recognize names from my first games.

Again with this nonsense. With the excuses. One blizzardillion players and I end up against the same guys from 10 hours of gametime ago? Come on man, even Halo Infinite doesn't do that.

That graph shows that last 30 days the average daily player count is indeed 1.6 million.

I've only seen the same person again once.

If it was truly 'dead' then there would be 0 people playing

Overwatch 2 is cross-platform what do you mean that an "Astronomical" amount of people are still playing on Blizzard. There are no servers for OW2 on Steam, it's still using Blizzard's servers. The only thing different with Blizzard OW2 and Steam OW2 is the Steam API dll hooked onto the game.exe, that's it. The API tracks the amount of users playing the game and other stats like Achievements and play hours. If there were an "Astronomical" amount of players playing on Blizzard then OP probably wouldn't even notice repeat players

well, if you play the game and look into the social tab then you'd see who is all on steam or blizzard client. The vast majority are still using the blizzard client

Clearly you've never played multiplayer games before and apparently OP hasn't either. Seeing the same people in your games is not a strange occurrence typically especially in the same skill rating. Also, multiple people can have the same name as well.

Play rank and change your SR to change your MMR silly. And people can still play together with varying MMR ratings in quickplay. Also, multiple people can have the same name
