Normal is hard

Normal is really really hard :( I feel like the baddies do too much damage and there’s not enough healing or you don’t do enough damage :( and I feel like the stages are too long like 20 floors?? I’m already dead by 11-14

Normal sucks.

Go for a gold build and some knuckles, shred every starting item and you should be fine. Ignore the char's abilities and quirks. Farm gold, get golden armor, deal damage with golden daggers and never look back.

It will get better later. Three claws of your choice, nearly twice the perks. Nightmare is the only fun mode and it is so much easier.
