How-to-Play Dungeon Clawler
The game itself is pretty simple:
Pick up items from a claw machine to attack and defeat your enemies!

  • Move around the map with W/A/S/D or Arrow Keys
  • Move your claw with W/A/S/D or Arrow Keys
  • Press Space or Enter to drop the claw
  • Press Space / Enter again to close it manually (optional)

The Lucky Paws you get when winning a run with a character can be equipped in higher difficulty modes: 1 in Hard, 2 in Very Hard and 3 in Nightmare. They act as starting perks and can be freely combined for some crazy combinations :)

There are settings inside the game to enable Mouse-only control or to display all keyboard hotkeys. The game also has full support for Xbox and PlayStation gamepads. (Nintendo Switch Gamepads should work fine too).

Unfortunately keys can not yet be re-assigned inside the game, this is something we are planning to add during early access in a later patch.

How does the lucky rabbit foot work? I have earned 3, and even though I select one, I can't see anything in my run that indicates its working?

You should see them in your inventory like the other perks.

I came for the same question. I feel like you should always be able to equip at least one because:

1. It's less confusing
2. Easy is supposed to be easy, so why not let us have a paw?
3. It adds a great sense of progression and a reason to switch to hard if you start destroying the easy content.

Is there any way to notify the player on your screens that they need to use WSDA or the arrow keys? Until I saw this post, I had no idea this is how you even start the run.

Any tips to unlock Anne Bunny? I know the glass cleaner can activate an item twice, but to get her you need to activate an item three times. Maybe a perk I'm overlooking?

I think you just drop the item three times? It doesn't need to be three all at once?

You’ve probably got it now, but just in case (or for other users who might be curious), there is indeed a perk that makes an item trigger an additional time if it’s the only item collected. And if you use the harpoon claw (or whatever it’s called), any item collected will trigger an additional time.

I didn’t even know about glass cleaner at the time, so unlocked the character by using the harpoon to collect a single item by itself whilst having the aforementioned perk.
