Steamdeck Compatibility

Just for anyone wondering about whether the game will run on a Steamdeck or not.
Don't worry, the game has a Linux build with full controller support and was tested extensively on a Steamdeck, Valve just did not yet have the time to verify it themselves.

It should run great on Steamdeck without needing a special template !

Edit: updated my steamdeck and the game loaded up first try.

I played the demo on my steam deck without issue. Just purchased the supporter edition since yall hit early access. It starts to load and just sits on a gray colored screen, won't load any further. Sadface.

Edited: Cloud saves are working for me now on steam deck. Not sure what the issue was.

Is it working now? The cloud saves are definitely set up properly, it should transfer over even if your main PC uses Windows.

Just checked and I see it as cloud enabled now. Not sure what changed as I don't think any updates have been pushed. Thanks for checking!

pls bring the option in with playing mobile controls. it wood be perfect to play with mobile smartphone controls on steam deck.

Works great, but it would benefit from being zoomed in a little maybe like 20%? an option would be fantastic. Also, the UI needs a similar option.

First off thanks for making this game, great job. I would like to second the previous comment as I also wanted to call out some concerns about accessibility:

The general UI, and particularly the fonts, are very small while on the steamdeck. I'm honestly kind of surprised steam didnt hit you with the 'small fonts' warning for steamdeck. This would benefit all users, but in particular those of us 40+ who don't have the best eyes, or people out there with true vision issues.

The UI elements appear a bit too small also, to the previous commenters note. Idea: instead of having the black border around the game UI, perhaps you could have it full screen and have small overlays for the things currently visible in the border. If you'd like any additional feedback or anyone to beta test any changes to this let me know. Thanks!

hi, just purchased and it doesn't load. stray fawn logo, then black screen/crashes. sometimes will require hard restart of deck. steamos is up to date. thanks!

Update: Still does not fully launch, refunded. Be cautious if you're playing on Steam Deck.

No real issues with the steam deck compatibility I've encountered so far however I do notice that the steam cloud syncing tends to be a bit wonky for this game, sometimes not even syncing at all!
