also, more powerful magnet is an upgrade that exists in the game
double attack power for a single shot would probably be reasonable, but it would be weird because strength potion also exists, and is generally more powerful than that (lasting multiple turns), and many people love strength potion so couldn't just remove it.
Also, I feel like there are many people that are used to the game's physics and mechanics and would disagree with drastic changes to such things.
the idea of a blitz would seem very interesting. I feel like they could implement something similar to the timed claw with the money guy, perhaps bring back the perk that gives an extra claw but have a time limit for all claws.
this idea "" But just of them pushing these actual claw machines around. And just trying to break each others claw machine battles. And then it just zoom into both of your claw machines. So the ai would be doing the same thing as you. And you could see it. I think literally making it some weird world where people actually push around claw machines and have battles with them. "" I agree that it would be cool in more games leaned into a player-opponent symmetry, but what you are proposing is a compleatly different game. try dungeons and degenerate gamblers, the blackjack rouge-like. it does a very good job at playing around with the interchangeability between you and you opponent's tools, but even then, advantage points (which was not originally in the game) breaks symmetry.
Specials yes like a single use buff that is unique to the character. After a few battles. That you get from beating enemies or getting large combos. Something you could use against a boss. Or to save a run. Like how characters will have unique movesets and then also unique specials in games. Just something to add a little more depth.
The movement as in left right movement feels bad, it just does. It's just start stop. That is what I'm more talking about have the same kind of physics for the left and right as the claw itself.
Yeah what I am talking about in some parts would be like a whole game to include. A whole game someone else might make after taking this main concept. And considering I thought about it because this game. And they are the one making this concept. I figured I would give them the chance to make that game before someone else snaked their main concept and did something like that. Not that this won't itself do well. Like peglin.
