It's so GW could create age of sigmar and make their game more casual while renaming all the races for maximum copyright protection.

Pretty much. Rule book went from something like 130 pages to three pages. I get you have to do some house keeping every so often.. otherwise you wind up with something like Magic:The Gathering where even hardcore decades long tourney vets don't have a clue about many of the rules... still seemed overly drastic.
Something in the back of my head though keeps telling me that after seeing the success of this game, they may make Age of Sigmar a spin-off rather than the continuation, because literally no one is happy about Age of Sigmar. The fantasy side of Warhammer has usually been way more successful in video games than tabletop.

Failing that; Mantic's gonna get a whole lot of new Kings of War players.

I hope you don't mean the green moon by this. That is the Chaos moon and he is supposed to look like that.

http://warhammeronline.wikia.com/wiki/Twin_Tailed_Comet

From the wiki link:

"The Twin Tailed Comet is a comet with two tails which has been sighted on multiple occasions throughout history in the Warhammer World. The Twin Tailed Comet always heralds great or tumultuous events. It is unclear whether the comet is a single object whose orbit passes close to the Warhammer World on a regular cycle, or whether the comet(s) are separate objects which have been seen consecutively.

1st Comet marked the birth of Sigmar, roughly 2500 years before present.
2nd Comet marked the coming of Sotek and the victory of the Lizardmen over the Skaven
3rd Comet appeared over the city of Mordheim prior to its destruction at the hands of another Comet.
4th Comet heralded the coming of Valten of Lachenbad, who was seen as Sigmar's spiritual successor.
"

Could the comet in this game be the first one ? or just a sighting not "recorded".

After playing the GW tabletop games for the last 25 odd years (god I'm old) the draw of Warhammer Fantasy was the tactical depth it had over 40k... flanks mattered and realistic tactics could be employed akin to more historical tabletop games. There was more finesse to it than 40k had. Unfortunately us oldster tabletop gamers are dying out (or having kids without the spare time we use to have) and the younger generations don't have the patience it seems for more complex rule sets. Hence the "dumbing" down of WH Fantasy into a warmachine knockoff. I doubt they will bring the old game back as they seem to have fully committed to the Age of Sigmarines but I for one will ignore the new lore much like I ignore the Star Wars prequels...It's all just a bad dream, right?...

The last one.
Sigmar was born 2500 years ago, Sotek came to save Lustria from clan Pestilens looooong time ago, an Mordheim was ruined by falling comet roughly 500 years ago.
Valten will become known in year 2524 I.C. during the assault on Alderfen. A whole year after the plot of this game.

Thanks for clearing that up. I just read about Magnus. He basically reunited the empire and drove chaos out. He believed in the "god" Sigmar. I wonder if the tower of Magnus has a story to it.

Yeah, Magnus commissioned that tower to be built.
