Let the hacking begin!

Just was in the game with a player named <edited it out to comply with ToS>

He was playing an empire soldier with a handgun that fired like an assault rifle with unlimited ammo.

When questioning him about it, he proudly announce that the reason why he is doing it is "their loot system sucks".

He said that he achieved it by modifying local files in the game.

I am posting it here to get some kind of reaction out of dev's. If they let something as stupid as this into the game with no consideration that there are plenty of people who are pathetic enough to hack, this game has a longevity of a dead donkey in a swamp.

Get your ♥♥♥♥ together Dev's. And for ♥♥♥♥'s sake, ban <Edited it out to comply with ToS>

Edit: Removed references to a specific player due to ToS with which I personally dont agree with. I have the evidence to prove his transgression and will submit it to Steam support with 0 belief that it will do anything. In my personal opinion, protection of cheaters against naming and shaming is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, they strive on silence.

They should be fully denied any attempt to refund due to hacking and cheating. The most that can be done is this. The least that can be done is just a char wipe each time they hack.

Oh wait, he wasn't being serious? Too bad some people probably think he was and rather then having stupid people take him literally, figured I would put in a little facts so people know otherwise. The cheating has been rampant in this game. They use a device called Cheat Engine to edit the files. Its not just unlimited ammo, its unlimted health, 7 Grimore dice at the end of stages and they edit the proc rate on their weapons, giving themselves 100% kill, heal, reload, ect, on hit/kill.

Their is even a paid Trainer out there that gives them many of the same abilitys. I sent all this info many days ago to their help desk, even provided links to info. I really hope they can fix this.

They will fix 90% the issues just changing to Server Side info. Making it so Cheat Engine will be considered a intrusive program on their side. They will do all the punishments more then likely when they get all of that running properly.

No one here is assuming it is the end all. The fact of the matter is this:

1) Cheat Engine is the easiest obtainable cheating/hacking program out.

2) Cheat Engine is the easiest program out to learn.

3) Cheat Engine is free and young kid's can get it without paying.

4) It is safe to assume most people use Cheat Engine, because any further hacking in a game would be more then just wipe/game ban, it would be a IP ban and steam account wipe.

So overall, most people use Cheat Engine because it isn't a program that will get your entire steam account revoked. As well as being so easily useable and obtainable, it is safe to assume 90% the hackers/cheaters use it, since anyone with a real knowledge in Hacking would do something less noticeable, like having full Orange gear with best traits, unlimited resources to spend for upgrading gear, and possibly have all items just to play the game as usual. All things considered, legitimate hackers actually enjoy playing the game, they just don't like the grinding aspect of games.

Before you say I am talking out my ass, I know several REAL hackers that would rather play the game without grinding the loot rather then thinking they are bad ass and trying to show off. Those show offs use Cheat Engine and know nothing about real hacking, they are also the ones who will constantly say "You won't do anything because I will hack your compupter". ♥♥♥♥♥, if you COULD hack my computer, you would do it and not talk out your ass.

So, overall, the big problem childs will be solved once they have Server Side saving and once they add a way to detect and remove Cheat Engine users.
