Dwarf drakefire pistols also behave like a bright wizard weapon, with the charged attack being similar to the left click on the beam staff and the left click on the drakefire being kinda like an inaccurate less dmg/heat version of the the fireball/conflag staff left clicks.
Then do Witch hunter, his brace of pistols have high ranged dps output and his melee 2h sword is somewhat easy to use.
I woudln't say WW is easy at all, her trueflight bow is op as ♥♥♥♥ for specials and she should be top dps in a run if there was an ogre, but her melee is probably the most difficult to use if you don't have host advantage.
For just ranged DPS it's the Bright Wizard... no contest.
He wants an impossible combination, TOP dps and top survive that's easy to play.
Yeah, and Soldier/Dwarf with faster ranged is as close as you can get to that. But good ranged DPS and survivability and easy to play... yeah, that is not happening.
Dwarf for best survival
Soldier for both
there is your answer.
