Resolution keeps resetting after each game start

Every game I need to put the resolution back to 1920x1080. Is there a way to fix that? Some .cfg I can edit or something?

Same problem here. It was fine until the most recent patch, which seems to have broke it. Despite the settings showing my resolution as 1920x1080, it most certainly isn't, and I have to change it to something else, and then return it to 1920 for it to take effect.

Did some settings file get write protected in the latest patch or something?

Second! Having same issue after last patch... Game thinks it is at 1920x1080 but its some other resolution my monitor hates until I re-apply 1080 again. Have to do it everytime.

It's defaulting to 1600x1200 (changes my windows res too) even though in-game it shows 1920x1080 fyi.

This issue is STILL not resolved after the latest patch.

I've noticed that if I purposefully set the in-game setting to 1280x720, when I re-launch it defaults to an EVEN LOWER setting (800x600), etc. This issue happens regardless of whether I boot the game with or without the launcher.

The only solution I found (and it's not exactly ideal) is to run the game in Borderless Fullscreen mode - if I do that it retains the resolution setting correctly.

I've also tried reinstalling the game via Steam after deleting it, as well as the settings data located in appdata/fatshark/... I did not muck about in the registry however (might be some hidden settings data there).

I'm on Windows 10 x64 if that's of any help.

Please fix.

yeah true but thats not a real satisfying solution because borderless fullscreen is stuttering much more (which it nearly always is in nearly all games) because of a worse framesync -.-

this has to be fixed asap. together with the horrible loot system that discourages me from playing the game at all

I have a similar bug in fullscreen where the resolution of menus and loading screens are squished vertically and in game screenshots come out squished horizontally. Playing in the borderless window option fixes this though, as does changing the resolution.
