Special rats spawn way to often
The special rats spawn way to often and they keep destroying our entire party (we had 2 stormrat pcks a rat ogre and 2 gutterrunners at the same time just before hte first rope room of smugglers run, can you please tone down the spawning or put a limit on how many can spawn at once

In the current build, Storms seem to spawn more often than before, but that's it. I stil remember that rat-ogre + horde + globadier + TWO gunners at the very start of Engines of War. Grimnir, that was painful.
Stop qq and get better. Spawns are fine. As many others have said if you want an easier time play on a lower difficulty or go play WoW where they reward mouth breathers.
I have found that the spawning can be a little overly hectic at times, most cases they're fine but I have had cases where before we got to the guard house on Horn of Magnus the game spawned 3 gutter runners in quick succession, 2 gas rats and a rattling gunner and then later at the horn itself spawned 3 rattling gunners, 5 stormvermin a gas rat and a gutter runner all at the same time all on normal difficulty.

You don't have to be rude about it, friend. Don't get me wrong, I'm fully against lowering the spawn rate, but it dismissing any opinion on the other side of the spectrum as "crying" before walking off does not help the discussion much. All it does is derail it into flames.
yeah, so? deal with it
it's happened with me that 3 special spawned and we had to restart from near the beginning

Yes but I understand his behavior.
It is the fear of the devs listening too much the cryings and ending doing wrong things, like lowering the difficulty.
I had happened soo many times in video games, even when the game did not deserve it...

regular stormvermin aren't a special spawn
they're just there as part of the boss battle
had a ogre + 2 assisans and 1-2 gutter runners, 1 gas rats and that happend few times on hard.
It wen't so fast to die by them (even though outside battle specials can be very very weak!)
so our team had a bad time + grim but thats our fault.
I wish there was not THAT much specials at the SAME time when fighting a ogre most of all gas rats they HURT hard on higher diff.

Other games have similar things.
Look at Killign Floor 1, you sometimes have 3 Flesh points with scrakes ans sirens.
But players just get good and deal with it ! That is what creates the challenge and the will to still play the game.
Otherwise they just lower the difficulty...

This is my point exactly. It isn't about being mean or sarcastic it is the truth. When ppl say things are too hard the devs these days listen more than they used to. The fact is I actually enjoy this game and to see it "derailed" due to low skill caps is a real threat. You think this is hard now? lol Try getting all the Grimoires and figthing Ogre, 2 gunners, 1 glob, and 2 gutters. Still can complete the map. So yes to that I am saying quit the qq and practice.

Yes they can potentially destroy their own game by doing that, and it will loose all interest.
All I say is just wait untill the game is out.

Sure.. but just think about sometimes it can be quite unfair.
and 2nd of all higher diff can have their options and such for harder and then for loot will go through what you choose.

so that those pro's are getting their "advanced equipment" while others have to do a longer turn.
and lower skilled or bad specs should not turn down the fun of the game.
Wonder if there will be a seperate loot where you can get from easier and test out stuff as I think this game needs for some weaker players an "aracede mode" per say.
The spawn rates are fine but there shouldn't be 3 or even 4 special rats active at a time. I've had situations where the entire team got grabbed/stabbed because there were 2 pack masters and 2 gutter runners.
The only "unfair" thing I have seen was when my group went into an alley and a gunner spawned in the wall and decimated us from behind. If the devs appeal to the casuals it will shorten the game and then they will complain not enough content. It is a never ending circle. That is why posts like these need to be disregarded immediately. You may call me rude but I am tired of it. Too many good games get destroyed by nerfs to the content.
But more popular games has made modes for causals and pro to perfectionist.
This game does not really benefit from many of the same areas as those titles where has killing floor has levels and upgrades so long you get XP most players are fine.
Or having "quests" to do 100 of this type and win that and this so achivements for stuff would be great to have and more lower loot not ONLY 1 loot per 20-30m! I wish it had more loot even if it was worse then Would want.

also crafting would then need more weapons to get 1 dust or what it is to buy upgrades.
