Delete your user settings file in "C: > users > Your User name here > Appdata > Roaming > fatshark."

You may need to enable viewing hidden files or folders. If you don't know how, just google 'Show hidden files' with your version of windows

Hello

Could you please contact our helpdesk at http://helpdesk.fatshark.se/ with this issue?

I had this problem too. Make sure Steam isn't running in compatibility mode. I had to manually delete some files via my register editor to make this happen, as it was stuck in Windows 8 mode.

Just reinstall/update DirectX using the Web Installer:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35&751be11f-ede8-5a0c-058c-2ee190a24fa6=True

You're obviously missing an updated component (the mentioned file) or there's been some issue loading that part for whatever reason.

Go to SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Warhammer End Times Vermintide\_CommonRedist\DirectX and install DirectX package included in the folder (DXSETUP.exe).

Seriously. This works. I found it on the forums, and then @vermintidegame tweeted at me to do it, but I'd already fixed it.

I have the same issues, tried to delete the user files in appdata, update my direct X included in the game, and the web updater. Sadly no luck.
