Why no Cataclysm players?

I've done everything but the Cataclysm missions. It was hard enough to find players for some of the Nightmare missions, but there don't appear to be -any- open matchmaking cataclysm games, let alone some for each.

Most Cata players tend to use private lobbies with a select group of friends, I imagine it's risky enough without randoms. I'd suggest you find one of said groups or ask in the other forum for a group.

People can no longer exploit there way up so now are having trouble.

Add to that most have done Cataclysm and most people run in groups.

I am still on Cata and bought the game on Release, beta too, but i never used all the loot and level up exploits. Hence why no i struggle to find good lobbies. However Killing Rats is reward enough for me.

Hoping the new patch makes a difference, as i for one wont play till the new patch is in and see what state the game is in then.

The game is more punishing that rewarding. Almost like playing Hardcore on every map as we know one death is all it can take to kill a game.

Yep. Its possible to do Nightmare with pugs. But Cata is such a low chance to finish with randoms its not worth it. I do cata only with my group.

Pubbing is painful in this game, that's why. Cata seems to need pre-made groups and those that play it (Like 80% of them) do it in private games.

There are an awful lot of people hoping to do Cata like you; But, like you, they don't see any open lobby and are afraid that if they open one they might end with absolute fail-lords. «

Search on the forums, create a thread if you must, find a set group here perhaps; Try doing Nightmare and finding a team that is absolutelly awesome, if so, convince them to try a Cata run and see how it goes; If it goes well... you know what to do- Add them, make it a fixed group, play Cata only with them.
