You guys are damn joking on the amount of enemies on a damn small ship, reduce the numbers for christ sake, no chance in hell on nightmare doing this fine unless you have 3 good teammates with low ping, with bots that have good gear it is not possible, tried with 2 mates, they died fast and then alone i cannot do much against those 30 rats on this small room with storm vermins while have the need to destroy 4 chains..

@Fatshark reduce the numbers of enemies please.

Don't complain - Practice and adapt.

I am not sure if you trolling or serious, but I will respond seriously.

Bash or shove the rats as they board. Pushing them into the water kills them instantly. 1 player shoving on each boarding point makes that sectiona joke. It is easy even on cata if you follow that strat. If you don't like shoving, simply use any ranged AoE weapon on the boarding points.

I have done it repeteadly with bots. Simply shove the initial spawns, hit chains, shove the next spawn. Rince and repeat.

If you let them board you clearly have screwed up already.

Not really. Just let the stormvermin group spawn, kill them by pushing them into water or attack them with heavy atracks as they jump over, then bring the barrels over. What idiots do is try to force past the initial stormvermin group whilw carrying barrels.

You guys are not helping it, fine when you have the room to push them over, i do not have that room and comfort neither do my people have that, it is simply to much rats for that small room, in other maps it would never be that excessive.

It's a whine thread but a fair whine thread in honesty. This is without a doubt the hardest DLC Fat Shark have released. Lots of people will disagree it's all easy and everyone who can't do it is a ♥♥♥♥♥ and this and that and I've done it on cata blah blah blah. I've done them on cata too but the point is for the average player in this game they aren't managable on cata. So on that basis I can at least sympathise with the whine.

The ship boarding is hard OP, I've done it but I'm not so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ elite that I'll chat ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it being a cakewalk because it isn't. It is hard but it is also possible. Whilst the pushing off ratties into the water is (and hopefully should be) an obvious course of action it's easier said than done and it does take a bit of competency because it's a very small gap, they're all clipping through each other, half of them will be in their climb animation therefore immune to shoves, inbetween shoves the climb animation rats have often got on their feet and hooked the entry point meaning the next shove often rams them into the side.

I'm never without a shield, so again I don't find it hugely difficult but I've seen a lot of people struggling to get rats over board. If anything the stormies are easier to drop in the drink because they're heavy and easier to move around with regards to knowing exactly where they'll be moved to.

It heavily encourages teamplay which is what makes it tough for newbies and random groups. That's not difficulty, that's not being able to adjust your tactics to the problem.

I do love that this new DLC seems almost engineered to completely negate soloists and speed bouncers (already had Panda complaining after all) I just hope it's a trend they continue. We're expecting one more Vermintide 1 DLC too aren't we?

Lack of good CC/CK and poor positioning issues, cause the boat ride to be a ball ache. For me it is a great map all of it. My only gripe it the length of it. Feels too short.
