Bash or shove the rats as they board. Pushing them into the water kills them instantly. 1 player shoving on each boarding point makes that sectiona joke. It is easy even on cata if you follow that strat. If you don't like shoving, simply use any ranged AoE weapon on the boarding points.
I have done it repeteadly with bots. Simply shove the initial spawns, hit chains, shove the next spawn. Rince and repeat.
If you let them board you clearly have screwed up already.
sorry i ment its really easy, they should add ogre too, all you need is 2 shield bearers to push ♥♥♥♥ overboard
You don't speak for all preoreder buyers, so shut up and stop putting words in my mouth.
The ship boarding is hard OP, I've done it but I'm not so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ elite that I'll chat ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it being a cakewalk because it isn't. It is hard but it is also possible. Whilst the pushing off ratties into the water is (and hopefully should be) an obvious course of action it's easier said than done and it does take a bit of competency because it's a very small gap, they're all clipping through each other, half of them will be in their climb animation therefore immune to shoves, inbetween shoves the climb animation rats have often got on their feet and hooked the entry point meaning the next shove often rams them into the side.
I'm never without a shield, so again I don't find it hugely difficult but I've seen a lot of people struggling to get rats over board. If anything the stormies are easier to drop in the drink because they're heavy and easier to move around with regards to knowing exactly where they'll be moved to.
It heavily encourages teamplay which is what makes it tough for newbies and random groups. That's not difficulty, that's not being able to adjust your tactics to the problem.
I do love that this new DLC seems almost engineered to completely negate soloists and speed bouncers (already had Panda complaining after all) I just hope it's a trend they continue. We're expecting one more Vermintide 1 DLC too aren't we?
yeah, i was sorta hoping that most of the level would be on a boat, not just part of the end
