Verm1 is much alive then most people think.

^THIS. THIS. A THOUSAND TIMES THIS.
While far from actually perfect (thank goodness for the vermintide framework mod), it's basically finished and balanced. I don't agree with all the balance choices, but it's better at basically EVERYTHING than V2 is or will ever be.
I just cannot stand the V2 weapon combos. It's like you're fighting AGAINST your weapon instad of WITH it. Whoever thought the 'charged attack combos' were a good idea was, in the words of SHODAN - 'very very wrong'.
"Oh but Dingo you just suck at V2, you should practice more."
I must have like 200 hours in V2 already. When a game requires such homework but is very similar to another much better game that doesn't require any homework - well, you know the drill.
I pretty much only play V2 if my friends are playng. I still play V1 solo heaps. Says it all.
I love the IDEA of V2, but I love the ACTUAL PRODUCT of V1.

Anyway, I've been using Reddit for Q&C for months now and I highly recommend it - that's the thing that led me to Reddit.. (he said, making sure his post wasn't compltely offtopic)
