made my day!
Myrmidon likes this.
Graphics-wise the Xbox One X version looks OK (probably a mix of medium-high like in other games), but the gameplay looks atrociously sluggish at 30 fps with controllers. And, there is also frame drops with screen tearing on occasions when there are horde attacks, but nothing worrying, so there is that. But, the worst thing of all is the really small number of ratmen in the horde attacks compared to PC. The hordes seem really small; it looks like its only about 30%-35% of the number of enemies in the PC version, or even less sometimes. The town in the run through horn of magnus in the above video just feels desolate. Especially at the end where you get absolutely inundated on PC with hordes of enemies, there is barely anything remotely comparable in the One X version. The horde at the end looks awkwardly small and short. Not sure how the game is even fun like that. I guess it works for controller people.
Hahaha, Poor troll has a 8700k, 32gb G-Skill RGB 3200 DDR4 RAM and a 1080ti with dual head-32 inch displays via LG32UD99 4K monitor. I just played this game on PC and Xbox One and the console version more than holds it own. It's a little bit more sylized which is unique. The PC version is probably better overall, though if so, it's nearly imperceptible.
You're in the wrong place to preach the glories of the Exbawks lol, especially when you're obviously cheeched out like a Rastafarian on the beach in Jamaica
Both are good, wasn't trying to say that. IIRC the Xbox also runs at 60fps as well. It comes with three DLC which is a nice bonus. Either way, great game regardless. I'm looking forward to Vermintide 2 to come out soon, can't wait!
I find it funny how every console gamer in a PC vs. Console discussion has the latest and the greatest PC components, so at this point of time it is 8700k, 32 GB DDR4 3200 and 1080 Ti. Anyway, good for you. The game targets 30 fps on all console platforms, including Xbox One X. Even then, to maintain this frame-rate they reduced the rat number to probably only one third that of what you get on PC. Not ideal for a horde-based game such as this if you ask me.
FWIW, I just upgraded from an i7-920 that I had since the day it came out, nearly a decade ago, I was long overdue! I did notice that there appeared to be more rats on the PC version, thought it was my imagination to a degree, good to know. Going to keep the PC version, Xbox owners received that version for free this month.
Yeah, exactly, I play mine on a 32-inch 4K monitor, though the Xbox version is definitely a looker, more so than many realize.
