Question about quality of life mod

I started to use the mod just recently and I am concerned if having the mod when the new update drops, will mess up my game or if it dosent, will I be able to still enjoy the mod without issues?

So far, Grimalackt was always very quick with releasing fixes when an update messed the mod up.

In case you won't get a day 1 patch, you still can turn off the mods manually untill you get an update.

No, you have to edit a .lua file in the "mods" bin.

I'm not at home atm, so i can't exactly tell you which file, but i will have a look into it tonight :)

Vermintide Mod Framework

It's basicly the same, but you choose the mods you want by yourself. And you can cheat.
While the QoL modpack has only mods that improve the gameplay and denies cheaters to join your games.

As you do not need to mess around with the binary folder. That is far dirtier than VMF. QOL feels like a hack, VMF feels like a program. As all you do is select the options you want & launch it.
The launcher even launches Vermintide.

Implying if you use VMF you cheat.

I use the VMF since long months. And i never used any kind of cheats ingame. Lot of players in there can testify.
Stop being narrow-minded and repeating what peoples are telling you.

The VMF is vastly superior in all forms to the QoL and mods doesnt depends of a single guy. VMF is also updated more frenquently with lot of modders involved in.

You can surely cheat with the QoL as you can with the VMF.
Its not because its taggued "cheat free" that you can cheat with the QoL.

Also, for the story, the QoL wouldnt be there without the work of Lupo on the earlier version of the ImaLupo's mods. Lot of features involved in the QoL comes from the VMF on the first place.

My part:
QoL does it's job. And QoL developed in a time where Lupos Mod offered cheating to anyone with no protection of cheats.
I myself didn't use mods before there was QoL.
And the fact that there is a cheat free VMF now, prooves that QoL has its right to be there.

For me, QoL is as good as VMF.
Use whatever you want, be happy with it and handle it like a Penis: It's nice if you have one but it's not nice to slap it in everyone's face.

Most of us know it was a collaboration by many good coders in the modding community. To assume otherwise is folly. Without the collaboration I would have dropped this title long ago. However they breathed new life into if for me personalty. But I digress; for some people to always be pushing QoL; now that there is a legitimate cheat free version of VMF is purely white knighting.

Here is a radical idea; how about pushing both the cheat free versions of mod packs & letting people choose? Maybe people don't want to cook their binary folder...Oh that's right you're a white knight for QoL. With pitchforks for VMF.

Did I personally ever type that Grim stole anything? No merely pointed out Lupo et al paved the way for QoL.

Maybe you should have never started the cold war...
