Last stand is just a mediocre horde mode thats rarely played. No need to purchase unless you have a dedicated group to play it or want to support devs.
My order for dlc purchase would be karak -> strom -> drachenfels
They are not needed. You can even play them when a friend hosts or you join a pub and host chooses a dlc map after you joined.
The benefit of buying is being able to host them yourself, get contracts for those maps and a slightly higher chance for dlc weapons.
I always wondered:
1. The collector's edition costs like an avereage OST.
2. Cost if all DLCs combined is several times bigger and Collector's ED just can't be a DLC bundle.
3. You still get hats OST and artbook.
Why ppl having a temper tantrums over that? Can't they like... count?
Last stand is pretty fun in an arcade way and to test out weapons or teamwork! The adventure maps that add real variety are the priority though. The weapons and trinkets are nice but it is really the maps and the fun of the adventure that makes it worth getting and why I got it.
