Gutter runners
When I was trying my best at solo play I noticed some thing. Usually when runners attacked me I waited for them to stop for that half second before jump to shoot them or watch them jump over obstacle which allowed me more less stationary target to shoot when they hit ground, but now whenever I see any runner jump over some obstacle, immediately when they are on top of it they change direction mid air from fall, to jump straight at me without even hitting ground before that, which takes me off guard. Is it just my impression (most likely) or someone else finds them behaving wierdly?

Nope. You're spot on. Assassins skip their pounce animation if they decide to jump after they climb over an object. Incredibly frustrating.

Alright glad to hear my Saltz isnt going crazy :) After watching yours and jsat videos I finally decided to do solo plays and those runners always got me 8 out of 10 times. Maddening to say at least.

I think there are enough evidences of that. At least Panda's and Jsat's channels have a lot of scenes of such things.

Gutter Runners can pounce through the air whilst launching themselves sideways. They've always been buggy as ♥♥♥♥.

I'm going through my 2.5 hours of failed attempts for Courier True Solo. I'm sure I'll find at least one instance of this happening.

Edit: Another seriously annoying thing that Gutter Runners do that I would like to point out. They flat out miss you and hit a wall next to you, then they ping pong off it and land on you anyway. I have sooooo many clips of that happening if evidence is needed.

It seems like he does do the pounce animation... but it is so much faster than the one on the ground.

Do Khazid Kro and go to the Valaya Shrine past the first grim. Then go left or right. Plenty of railing leaps there.

This isn't even getting into the maps where they spawn in mid-leap towards players, which is easiest to see just after dropping down from the start in Cursed Rune in the wide open space, their constant animation reset when hit, and leaping at players without any build up or even looking at them.

Etcetera etcetera.

While we're at it maybe fix rats constantly snapping towards players when they're about to do damage in their animations?

Which you messed with back in 1.5's CB and never answered me on (like my past gutter runner reports) if this was a bug or intentional, which I've since leaned on being the latter.

I recall one time where a Gutter clearly missed me but due to the angle the bastard hit the wall it allowed him to slide along it onto me. Makes me wish i recorded back then.

It's like the stormvermin cleave, it isn't targeting a specific player so anybody who gets in the way will be pounced. They have a rare animation where, typically from a higher elevation, they jump up into the air and slowly glide down on someone. If there's a lamppost or some other pole in the way of their leap, they can be pushed around by it and still latch on to people etc.
