I've had some issues with the camera but that's more to do with how it randomly locks on to enemies that I may not even be focusing on in a fight.
I don't know why people would be having trouble with blade mode though.
In blade mode you can either make horizontal and vertical slashes by left and right clicking (which does the job of aiming the cuts for you), or you can manually aim the actual cuts by moving the mouse itself, raising and lowering your sword.
And if you're on the fence about the game it's the funnest one i've played in a while.
Just don't expect it to be like the other Metal Gear games and be sure to play it on Hard when starting out.
Other than that, it's very good
The camera is bad, but other than that is good.
The movement does seem bit more static when running and moving with mouse look, then with a pad too though.
I concur. There are some parts of the game where you'll notice the camera getting stuck or doesn't keep eyes on the enemy.
