Walking during Blade Mode
With keyboard and mouse: hold the Ninja Run key (default CTRL). You can then use the movement keys.
With 360 controller (default configuration): click the left stick in. You can then use it as you normally would.

Just thought I'd share since I've seen a lot of people have trouble with this.

You're welcome. It's weird that this isn't really mentioned anywhere, either in-game or in the console version's manual.

You're right, of course, but this series of games has never spoon fed you (only experienced this and MGS 1& 2) so I think they expected us to work it out ourselves.
