It's very cheap from the developers to just recycle two bosses in a single annoying long fight on this stage.
Similarly for Monsoon just be ready to block when he uses the block screen, slash at him afterwards and when he gets the purple aura either throw an EM grenade or use his Sai if you bought them (when unused for a period of time it's aura will change color and will stun the next enemy you hit) and use blademode to hit the head, then keep slashing at him.
To add, after stunning Monsoon and sending his head flying, equip Bloodlust (Sundowner's weapon) and charge the second attack and hit him when he gets up. Even on revengeance it takes ~20% (or more)
If you have too many RP grenades and don't know what to do with them, you can use them at Mistral fight to block the little ones from seeing you, leaving you and Mistral to fight one on one. Though you have to remember to throw few of them throughout the fight.
also it's cheap to regenerate a portion of Monsoon's health during his own big boss-fight right before he sends his first wheel-o-crap at you. just so ridiculous if you dropped his health to 35% it auto-heals til 40%.
to anyone struggling to S rank that fight - this could be achieved without no damage bonus. just try to slash as many tripods as you can and pick up the recovery bits they drop. enormous kill count and combo with pole arm can save that fight even if you get hit.
Haven't tried Revengeance difficulty on PC yet.
It sucks when I was trying to get the no damage acheivement for Armstrong and I forgot he had hit me in the last seconds of the second stage when Raiden has no sword and at the end, when I finished the game, there was no "no damage" score, and I had to repeat the whole fight all over again xD, but now I have that achievement, it was so good to kick Armstrong's ass >:3, even when it took me like 20 restarts.
