Metal Gear Rising Mods?
Does anyone have any idea how feasible modding is yet? If so, to what extent?

Personally, I'd really like a Steam Workshop for this game, if so.

Would be pretty cool if this game supported Steam Workshop! I could go for some extra hi-res texture packs. While we're at it, how about some Steam Trading Cards as well? :tdealwithit: :happymeat:

Was thinking those things as well! I need me some Metal Gear backgrounds and emoticons!

Would love to replace Raiden's player model

Nothing fancy, all we can change is only textures and models guys, I already posted about that:

"I'll think about it :) I'm not bad with textures. But it's not easy process, some guys already cracked console files and provided a script, I tried it yesterday, you need to recompile game files, extract/recompile textures, alter it, then compile again and test in-game(that last part I'm not checked yet). Hope it works, maybe I'll take a break from Skyrim and do some textures for MGR"

Hey, any new content sounds good to me! I'm hoping for some cool mods, just anything really. Would it be possible to add new skins to the customisation menu, like DLC?

Will never get workshop support. Why even bring it up? This isn't a game for modding. Maybe someone will come around and do some retextures on the armor or weapons but that'd be about it depending on how much digging they'd have to do.

There's some info here about some upcoming mods such as Sam in Raiden's campaign.

Only replace existing I think

The mod I'd like is the ability to play regular stages with the hand to hand fighting. I realize this means you can't use blade mode to cut things, though, so it might make the game unfinishable. But still, it'd be fun for those missions you could use it in.

Same here. It'd be cool if we could select fists in the weapon menu.

Would be fun for a while, hand to hand has a really short list of moves, would most likely get stale after just a short while, sadly.

Yeah, but it'd be a fun addition.

I was thinking this myself, the game itself wasn't shown to be moddable and it's the kind of game that doesn't really need modding to begin with.

Wanting to mod the ♥♥♥♥ of the game is replacing what already made the game what it was, it's like if people wanted to replace LOZ with light sabers and star wars stuff, why not just make your own complete star wars game?.

High res text packs sounds like people aren't already happy with the game being proted to PC and want ultra high realistic out of this world not thankful definition packs.

This is why I facepalm at those who are either pretending they aren't graphic ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and those that are.

I've been wondering if it was possible to somehow Mod in Sam and Wolf's story skins into their DLCs(Sam with the new arm and Wolf with a complete redesign).
