Performance issues while fullscreen
For some reason when I run at full screen no matter the resolution my FPS drops to around 45 and I get terrible tearing, If I switch to windowed mode on the same resolution I get full 60 no problem. I've tried full screen with Vsync on and it just locked me to 30 FPS.

I'm running on a i7950, GTX470, and 8 gigs of ram with W7

Like I said, the game runs perfect under windowed mode at 1080p but runs sub-par in full screen mode no matter the settings or resolution.

Are you using HDMI or DVI connection with your monitor?

That is the problem, I'm having the same issue.
Since 1440p isn't supported, I was just going to play it on my TV instead, until I read about the HDMI thing so now if I do full screen, its 30fps and the highest res that isn't a blank screen is 1680x1050.

Specs: I7 950 4.2 GHZ, GTX 780, 16GB RAM, ASUS ROG Extreme Formula III, Windows 7

Awesome, Thanks a lot for the help. I can just play windowed and it isn't too much of a bother. I didn't even realize this was an issue.

Having the same problem. Going full screen somehow makes the game look darker, with bad fps and lags.
On windowed it looks perfect.

I have a 1080p tv and gtx 670 Ti

Please fix this !
turn on vsync in nvidia control panel, and then... Kacho on!
