Fullscreen Not Working?
Just started it up, and it came up at 720p/Windowed

Clicked through to graphics settings, changed resolution to 1080p and switched to Fullscreen...then the screen went black and stayed that way.
I still have control and can still hear the BGM playing, but I can't see anything. That isn't good, so I alt+tab out and close/restart the game without saving the settings. Then I tried changing the window mode first, and same thing happened.

What can I do to fix it? I've never had this happen before.
Should I try saving the settings? I'd really hate to, and have that not work because then I'll be flying blind trying to get it back into windowed mode

To start with you will need to type your computer specs so someone can help analize your issue.

Same problem here. I read in another Thread that 1920 is capped at 24mhz. My monitor runs on 60mhz. Might be the issue - no idea how to fix it though

You can use windowed mode and remove the borders with the script in this link:
http://superuser.com/questions/38687/windows-program-to-remove-titlebar-frame-etc-from-a-window

Using it myself and it works fine. Other suggestions are to force the game's refresh rate to your monitor's rate via your driver control panel.

I have this same issue, I can do fullscreen at like 800x600 and 1680x1050 plus a few others but 1080p and 720p dont seem to work. I can still control the game and hear the sound, but my tv comes up black with the message "mode not supported". I have seen this before when the game is trying to display at the wrong refresh rate. I did not hear about the 24hz cap at 1080p, which sounds dumb. Is there a way to force 60hz in the nvidia control panel? I have not seen this option.

Using nVidia Inspector (a 3rd party software) you should be able to force the 60hz refresh rate. Some people have had success with that, but most have not. It seems that for now, the only temporary fix is to force the game to run in a borderless windowed mode (again, using 3rd party software)
