I know that japanese voices/original voice work can be superior to dubbed one, but there are examples of good dubbed voices and Metal Gear games are good examples.
This is why some of the games on Steam with Japanese audio, only provide the audio for purchases made in Japan. It's also why the $30 Tomb Raider Japanese language DLC is only sold in Japan. The price of the DLC is to match the full price of the game on Steam (which is the US import version) + language DLC to the retail price of the Japanese language version sold outside of Steam.
