Stealth/ Sneaking???

Is this a stealth game?
I mean everyone knows Metal Gear to be a stealth game, but the pics dont look like it.

No it's not. This is a Spin Off from the main series and it is action hack 'n' shlash oriented

Hopefully they port the rest of the series and bring MGS 5 to PC (Steam)

Stealth's been school-glued onto the game. Having played the game on PS3, there are some civilians you need to rescue, and because this isn't a stealth game, the PMCs will almost always off their hostages.

It's about Raiden, and while Metal Gear Solid: Rising was going to be stealth based like the main series they instead gave it to Platinum.

It has basic stealth elements, so it's possible to clear some rooms without alerts but it's truly a hack 'n' slash game. It's a f***ing good one at that.

Revengence was developed by Platinum, same guys who made Vanquish and Bayonetta. It's not a stealth game at all.

Kojima was strugling to develop blade action gameplay together with stealth so they outsourced.

Some people just need to learn to read. tells you everything you need to know in the info. I haven't played MGS since 3 and I'd have to say Im very much looking forward to this title. Looks like alot of fun to be had, even if it's not sticking to it's roots. What's wrong with an artist going in a different direction with their art? Happens everyday. Learn to deal or move on, This also happens everyday.

Yeah. Even more so that the MGS Ground Zeroes Xbox One (not as if I'd even bother with that console) DLC of Raiden doesn't feature a blade.

Kojima mentioned that this game was going to be about Grey Fox originally, and while I love Raiden, I would very much like to see Grey Fox make a return in the version Konami had originally envisioned (MGS: Rising).

There is little stealth.At some parts you can wonder around like MGS with the box item,but still.They can notice you easily and in a much fake way,and thats because its not realistic as MGS games.

It looks like a great game and I'll probably buy it. I just love stealth. I like Splinter Cell, but have always liked MGS better.

I have only been playing MGS 1,2,3 since I dont have a PS3.

I hope the MGS stealth games come to Steam.

trust me its a must get i own it for my 360 i got every new and old achvment it was amazing and you can chose to be snecky and stuff if you want its a great game trust me people need to stop hating on raiden hes one of snakes closet friends and was a bad ass in mgs4

It is the best action hack'n slash game in years.
I have the pre-order version on Xbox360,and i really like it,i finished this game lots of times,and the Blade Wolf and Jestream Sam chapter are just awessome.

there is kinda of a sneaking element, it's not much. Can use boxes and then stop mercs trying to kill innocent civilians. And there are different way out of situtations, but the problem is its not as rewarding as the combat. You might try it and it works to help you fight less enemies.
