"Metal Gear Rising: Vengeance" or "DmC: Devil May Cry"

I know, I might be in the community-hub of the wrong game to ask such a question, but I need a honest answer to that: Which one to buy?

Still I enjoyed DmC a lot more. It's just a bit less of 'do what gamedesigner says' and a bit more on actual story.

While DmC isn't all too bad a game, expect to be bombarded by donte haters.

With that said though, I'd say MGR is still the better buy

The gameplay is way better in Rising but it's also not easy. If you just want to slash away at dumb enemies get DmC, if you want a challenge and satisfying gameplay get Rising.

The only other reason to play DmC is to watch Donte gloriously abort any chance for a sequel.
Not like Rising's writing is excellent either but at least it's hilariously cheesy and not taking itself serious. [at least I hope it dosen't]

I liked DmC a lot honestly, but I still say get MGR. It's more challenging, and has better bosses. Plus, MGR is all kinds of crazy, being a Metal Gear game. Both games are cheesy as ♥♥♥♥, but MGR is a bit more mature with its cheese, and the actual story itself is a lot more interesting.

You wouldn't see people on DmC's own board being this indifferent to other people's opinions.
