This part gave me a lot of trouble too(I almost broke and changed the difficulty down to normal). The strategy that got me through it was:
Use smoke or stun grenades and take down the hammer guy.
Kill the birds and replenish health
Once the 2 gorillas spawn run around till the elevator reaches the top.
Try to separate them by luring one of the gorillas in the long corridor while the other one stays in the elevator room.
Kill them one at a time.

I've used the fox blade in that part 1st time. The 2nd time used the sai and double machetes.

Ok, so for the guys in the elevator I've used the blade mode (shift on pc) and for the little ♥♥♥♥♥ blocking the elevator the ripper mode (r button on the pc). Everytime after combat I was checking if the second elevator was low enough to use ctrl. I was struggling some time with this mission and this strategy allow me to pass it so good luck for all of you!

Lol if you have upgraded Fox blade then just slice everything. Only reason to upgrade something else is for boss battles

What helped me a lot were the red phosphorus grenades. If you throw one immediately after the hammer guy appears (double tap c on pc) you will usually catch several of the gliders in the explosion, causing them to just sit on the floor. Run up and kill them as fast as possible and then usually you are only left with 1-2 filers and the hammer guy. At this point use another grenade and then focus on killing either the hammer guy or gliders while the smoke is up. You can also use another grenade on the two gorillas as they will just stand there for the duration of the smoke allowing you to get easy damage in.

Finally, something I didn't know but that helped as lot was equipping repair paste in my first inventory slot. This will heal you instead of you dying for each stack of paste, they are essentially extra lives.

Oh its quite easy. The game gives you resources. In this case the birds. So as you probably already know, collisions and half collisions scale with difficulty. Higher difficulty, more damage. What you want to do is orion harpoon a bird into the hammer guy, dealing 50 damage on revengeance for a full collision. he only has 125 HP so i would recommend using two orion harpoon and usually when enemies are at 25HP or lower, they are usually grabbable with O. Hope this helps
