What were they thinking on final boss fight?

Final boss is near impossible, im on my like 80th try, No matter what I cant win not even get past the part where you slice the metal chunks up, either he instantly corners you the second the fight starts and you lose half your health right of the bat or he does attacks that are IMPOSSIBLE to react to, like literally hes standing still then a split second later im flying back with half my health gone in one hit and hes in the process of kicking me, theres like no startegy to this boss fight, jsut hope you get lucky with hisa ttacks, like every other boss was fine, if you make mistakes they punish you adn you learn from them, this guy, get hit once, -40% get up and instantly get hit as youre getting up, -40%, dodge his little fireball things and get cornered and cant get out since the walls are fire and he does unblockable attack which knocks you into fire, and does ever more damage so,-80% thats 1 and a half health bars, I dont wanna spend 2 hours on this guy ever so slowly chipping away at his health and then running to edge of arena and hoping he doesnt pull off a bs move and kill you, every other boss FINE this one SUPER BROKEN most inconcsitant boss ever and Ive googled guides how to beat him and theres like none, people jsut say hit him like 2 or 3 times and then back off, that does .9% damage and then he does a series of unblockable moves which almsot instant kill you and some are parriable and some magically arnt although they the same move.


This game was amazing till this boss, totally ruined it for me, went from concistant bosses you can learn from to 10x harder op boss that doesnt take hardly any damage from a 5 strength sword and ripper mode, I jsut dont know what to do, it seems impossible.

Im doing this on hard 1st playthrough with just about all damage upgrades for everything and alot of life upgrades

I somehow just beat him and only got hit 3 times and I did everything as ive been doing lol, but seriously ♥♥♥♥ him and id pay 10 dollars for dlc to jsut endlessly cut him to shreds till my computer crashs and thanks for all the tips everyone except for the guy that said I cant do it cuz I suck, ♥♥♥♥ you buddy this boss is just a pain in the ass on your first try with only 1 medpack. But yeah thanks everyone :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD might actually replay the game again and I dont get how people beat him so easily :C either I have the worst luck and he loves cahining together attacks that I cant escape or I jsut gopt lucky that one time lol and I was born on friday the 13th so its probably the first one lol

Actually all of his attacks are predictable...u will see if u try to get no dmg;)

Armstrong is quite easy boss, Monsoon is much harder with his attacks from nowhere.

He's pretty easy boss, I started on hard as well, and got totally rekt by boulder QTE, where you need to slice 4 spots, cause I never used free blade mode with the right stick... So I had to train it for like 30 minutes straight... After you master this - he's pretty much free, cause winning boulder (MGR parts or w/e) QTE gives you like 3-4 nanopastes and its almost impossible to lose before another QTE.

As for his attacks and patterns, yeah he has no patterns but I suggest abusing X+A dodge move, preferably forward version, so you can combo him right away in his recovery frames. Sometimes you need sidestep dodge his grab, but that's pretty much it.

Every attack can be compleatly avoided, you getting hit is your own damn fault against the boss. hes not broken you just need to practice more.

I used the white armor and I ahd 8 nanopastes and 5 gatorade packs. I won.

Yes I know he's pretty difficult, it took me around an hour to defeat him, but you don't know what hard is until you fight him in Jetstream Sam's DLC, he's a madman, even though I defeated him on my first try, it was one of the hardest bossfights I ever had, beats most Omega level bosses from Final Fantasy games. And there's something called 'VR Mission 004' in Jetstream Sam's DLC, you'll love that, 10 times harder than any boss in the whole game :D

It get's even funnier when you try to kill all bosses without taking damage for S ranks, this took me over 200 tries.

on hard difficulty or above, yes it's very hard, but on easy or normal, it's pretty easy.

oh really? I didn't know, I only played on Normal difficulty twice.
