Correct save directory
I changed my "My Documents" folder's location, but the game still insists in saving the game at C:\Users\[my name]\Documents, despite the fact that all other games that usually save there now use the other folder without a problem.
I'm on W 8.1 64bit. This is exactly what I did, in case there were problems in the procedure:

- I went to C:\Users\[my name]\, right-clicked on the "My Documents" folder and chose Proprieties > Location, then I picked the new folder and confirmed.
- Just to be completely sure I also right clicked on the "My Documents" Library, re-added the folder and selected it as my default saving directory (I know this doesn't apply to all software, but you never know).

The only reasons I can think why the game would do this are:
- The game only asks the system for the path of the [my name] folder, and then just saves in there inside of a "Documents" folder
- My system still has the old path (C:\Users\[my name]\Documents) saved somewhere and only MGR somehow retrieves it
- The path (C:\Users\[my name]\Documents) got saved in one of the game's configuration files.

As of now I have never completely reinstalled the game from scratch: I always moved the game's folder, "deleted my local files" through Steam, moved the game's folder back in place and "installed it" so that Steam would retrieve my old files. I'm also using Cloud.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks just got through this just now as I was about to play after some months on a new machine. So far the only game that has done this.

I noticed the same problem. Stranger still, Steam seems to sync the cloud backups to the correct location on G:\ the drive, where I moved "My Documents" to, even though the game will only read the save data from the "wrong" location on my C:\ drive. Got to be some kind of configuration issue with MGR.

sorry for necroin but thanks. i honestly didnt get why 1:steam cloud wasnt downloading the save file. (which is super wrong because makes me realize i cant depend on the cloud that much) 2:Why would it save everything in C: if almost every other game uses D: like i specified. Funny thing is it created 2 mgr folders one in c and another one in d yet, it didnt work on d lol.
But oh well. Thank you!
